| One can see animals in a zoo.
Coming to the bush is supposed to be a total experience – wild animals, in a wild place, often, up close and personal.
Nobody understands this better than we do !
We know the thrill of watching lions on a kill at night, a few metres from our vehicle.
We know what it means to be close to a fully grown male lion as it roars out its’ mighty challenge.
We know what it is like to be amongst a herd of elephants, out on foot upwind of a buffalo herd, and close enough to a rhino to see it blink !
…we also know how interesting our world is – the tracks and signs, the birds, the insects and the relationship between the earth, the creatures, the plants, the rain and the sun, and we’ll be very happy to share what we know with you …and not just close to nature, but right in it !!
At Naledi we go out into the bush twice every day (at no extra charge) in our open Gameviewer – in the morning we’re up before sunrise and we’ll stop for coffee somewhere in the bush – in the afternoon we’re out as the day begins to cool and the animals start to move, at sunset we’ll stop for sundowners and then drive on into the night, looking for wildlife adventures !
After breakfast, we will go out into the bush on foot and whilst we are certainly in big five country, we’ll not forget the smaller marvels of the bush – from tiny flowers hiding under bushes to tracks and signs, birds and insects.
If you are a keen photographer, you will love Naledi, because so are we !
You are welcome to make use of our special camera mounts and we’ll do whatever we can to bring you that special photo – be it stopping for birds, small game, or just magnificent scenery. |
